Q: Are you currently accepting new patients?
A: At Solomon Family Dentistry, we always welcome new patients.

Q: Where are you located?
A: Our office is located at the corner of N. Main St. and Royale Rd. in the Sangaree area of Summerville.

Q: Does your practice see children?
A: At Solomon Family Dentistry, we like to start children’s dental care at the age of 4. However, if you suspect a problem, we can refer you to a children’s dentist that would be convenient to you.

Q: Do you accept Medicaid patients?
A: Yes, we accept Medicaid. However, only patients under the age of 20 years old or younger are covered by Medicaid for dental services.

Q: What insurance policies do you accept?
A: We participate in over 300 major dental insurance companies and several discount plans. See our insurance tab for a list. If you don’t see your carrier please call our office.

Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open Monday-Saturday from 7 am to 8 pm and on Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm.

Q: Do you put your patients to sleep for treatment or do you use “the laughing gas”?
A: We do not use IV sedation on patients; however, we do use Nitrous Oxide Gas, or “laughing gas.”

Q: Do you have payment plans available or make payment arrangements?
A: Payment is due when services are rendered; however, for major or extreme treatment plans we may be able to assist you with a payment plan.

Q: Do you have a Bilingual translator in your practice?
A: We do have a Spanish speaking hygienist here Friday through Monday to assist with our Spanish speaking patients.

Q: Do you make dentures in your office?
A: Yes

Q: Do I have to have silver fillings or do you offer the tooth colored fillings?
A: No, tooth colored fillings are available but it is always best to discuss your options with the dentists.

Q: Do you offer tooth extractions in your office?
A: Yes, usually. There are times when our dentists will refer you to an oral surgeon based on the condition, which they will discuss with you.

Q: If I do not have insurance what do I need to pay on my first visit?
A1: If you have no insurance or are on a discount plan, payment is expected in full at the time services are rendered.
A2: If you do have insurance, you will need to pay your deductible and your percentage of treatment rendered.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, Care Credit, and all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
